Taking exception to rubbish writing

[17 May 2012] Its full-page advert in the May edition of Parking Review can’t have come cheap, so you’d think Liberty Services – a firm that provides ‘enforcement stationery’ and signs for the parking industry, might have done better than this miserable attempt at writing English:

‘We have over 10 years experience in sign design and production, except no substitute, call Liberty Services today for best value, high quality signage.’

Could this be a reason so many private-parking signs are grammatically challenged? Best to accept no substitute for decent editing and proofreading. [MC]
